Oh how long of a time it has been.
I find this event in my life to be post-worthy.
So here's how it goes. I was entering info on a website and it asked for my age. I had to enter 24. And I was like, holy crap. I am officially older.
The festivities of my birthing remembrance began on Sunday the 19th of October. The Curtis fam gave me the most wonderful family birthday party :]! The decor, the food, the games and the people. Splendid.
My mother-in-law Sue and I spent the afternoon cooking my favorite dinner! How I love to cook. Recipes listed below :].
Friday, the 24th, was the official Golden Birthday! I cannot even begin to describe the perfection of the entire day. +Zane decorated the entire bedroom with everything gold you can imagine. It was the best way to wake up! He stayed home from work and spent all day with me, helping me at work and making me feel so special and loved.
+Sue set up an hour long full body massage for me and oh my, it was sublime. +Catherine and +Peggy [mom] planned a birthday party for me and from hundreds of miles away! Hip pizza joint + my lovely ladies + a gorgeous carrot cake = is this real life?! Wonderful gifts from family and friends. And it doesn't stop there.
After the dinner I came home to the most beautiful surprise. It was seriously like from a chick flick [even though I totally hate those]. These pictures can't do it justice! Zane gave a perfect ending to my perfect Golden Birthday.
I am so lucky to have all of these wonderful people who make me feel so loved!
